We are currently training interns from William James College, formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP), a private college of psychology in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts, and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS University), a private university focused on medical and health-related science programs and located in Boston, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences

MCPHS University is a private university focused on medical and health-related science programs and located in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston, Massachusetts. The university provides traditional and accelerated programs of study focused on professional education in pharmacy and the health sciences. Since 2000, MCPHS University has expanded to include two additional campuses, located in Worcester, Massachusetts , and Manchester, New Hampshire. Graduate interns as part of their training at Sameem Associates are required to observe group therapy sessions several times each week, be part of initial evaluation sessions for new patients and their families; as well as attending a 2 hour clinical supervision and training session weekly. Interns are evaluated weekly and at the end of each semester.




William James College

Formerly Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology ( MSPP ), is a private college of psychology in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts . With more than 750 students, William James College offers graduate academic degree and certificate programs across four departments: Clinical Psychology , Counseling Psychology , Organizational and Leadership Psychology , and School Psychology , as well as a Bachelor of Science completion program in Psychology and Human Services. Graduate interns as part of their training at Sameem Associates are required to first observe group therapy sessions 8 groups weekly, eventually transitioning to being co-leaders in those groups; be part of initial evaluation sessions for new patients and their families; be part of family therapy sessions; learn how to coordinate with outside organizations such as the court system, state department of children and families as well as hospitals, outpatient clinics and primary care offices. Interns are required to attend a 2 hour clinical supervision and training session weekly. The student’s total requirement is 18- 20 hours weekly for the entire academic year. Interns are evaluated weekly and at the end of each semester.
